Local clinics have reported to public health an increasing number of cases of Fifth Disease in our community. Fifth Disease is not an uncommon disease, nor is it reportable. Generally, it is not something the Minnesota Department of Health will follow up on. It is typically a self-limiting disease, meaning there is no treatment.
